Dear all,

Thanks for all of the visits and gifts over the past two weeks. We are happy to report that Kapil has made outstanding progress and now has limited movement in his wrist, legs and fingers. Sensations are starting to return as he recovers his sense of touch through most of his body and he is having frequent muscle spasms (a sign of a healthy recovery). He has also regained near full control of his bladder and has shown superb resiliency in his lungs.

Emotionally he is also very healthy. OT (Occupational Therapy) and PT (Physical Therapy) are giving him goals to look forward to and he even gets himself to the gym with his electric wheelchair. His face is full of life again and you can tell that he is finally excited about the future again.

Please continue to use this blog as a central point for Updates, Visiting and Donating to the Generosity page.

Sup Fellas!

Squad,

In light of what has happened, we have had numerous people reach out to us about Kapil. We all are concerned and want to do as much as we can to help him get back to killing it on the dance floor. With his parents permission, we have set up this blogspot as a central location for scheduling visits and updates on his recovery.

The webpage is divided up into Updates, Leave a Message, Visits and Donations.

Updates- As Kapil progresses through his treatment and Physical Therapy, we will be posting updates as to how he is doing. This is will be an easy way to check up on him, especially when things pick up at school, work etc.

Leave a Message- Ladies(and Guys) this is where you get to leave Kapil his weekly love notes. If you're in class and you gotta hit him up with some gossip, here is the place to vent away! Lets keep him encouraged and pumped up!

Visits- Kapil is currently in the ICU  at the Shephard Center downtown. Because he was recently admitted, visiting hours are much more lenient. However, when he starts his physical therapy the nurses will only want 2-3 people in the room at a time. If you click this tab you will be linked to a weekly Google Sheet where you can sign up to see the legend himself.

Donations: An Indiegogo account will be set up in the next few days to collect any donations that you wish to send his family's way. The donations will help his family pay for any sort of medical or therapy related expenses. More details about this will be posted soon.

And that sums it up. We hope that this is useful for everybody and if you have any questions, comments, concerns or suggestions please reach out to us at kaps9610@gmail.com

We know that with all of our support and affection, Kapil will make a speedy recovery!

Much love,

K.I.B. Squad
